UTI while pregnant?

Has anyone had a UTI while pregnant? I’m nervous it will hurt the baby. I’ve been following the antibiotic schedule perfectly but just looking for someone who has gone through it also.

I had recurring UTIs with my last pregnancy. Took antibiotics every time. Each doc I saw said it was completely safe. My baby came out perfectly healthy!

Had one and no it doesn’t harm baby at all! Don’t worry they should be giving you the proper antibiotics that are pregnancy safe

Yes I had one around 8 weeks. I finished the course and all was okay. I was nervous to take anything also but it’s also pretty common for us to get UTIs easily right now. Feel better soon!

I have one right now and am on antibiotics for 7 days. I hate it!

I’m taking antibiotics right now for it. My midwife told me it’s pretty common in pregnancy. Your baby is fine! Make sure they test you again in few weeks to see if the infection has gone. Sometimes antibiotics don’t work the first time.
