It’s not the baby’s heartbeat but I’m chubby too. My tech finds it when I’m flat and she is right above my pelvic bone. I hope this helps. Once you get beyond 16 weeks it’s easier to find for plus size moms.

Nope. Doesn’t sound like baby. It’s much much faster! Don’t rely on the numbers on the screen! I found mine and it said like 70-something and it was clearly much faster!
