Has anyone experienced / have information on getting pregnant right after giving birth?

Hi everyone! I’m currently 3 weeks PP, and given that it took us 2 years and multiple miscarriages to conceive our first, we were eager to start TTC as soon as possible!

I was just looking for anyone whom has had a close pregnancy and their experiences / advice! How soon after could we realistically get pregnant again, etc. Any advice / experiences you’d like to add would be amazing. We know there’s an increased risk in having a pregnancy directly after, but we’re both very healthy, and had a smooth pregnancy. Our dr did suggest waiting 6 months minimum, but we’re so eager!
