3 days postpartum

Hi ladies! Thinking of all of you who are still waiting on your baby’s grand entrance 💕

For those who have given birth, did you notice that you bled a little more once you came home?

I delivered my second daughter on Mother’s Day at 4:45pm. I pushed for 10 minutes & had no tearing 🙌🏻 During my time at the hospital, I hardly bled. They told me to watch out for clots but they never came.

I was discharged from the hospital Monday night at 6pm! Yesterday I had some bleeding & occasional cramping. Today I have some very small clots - maybe pea sized or at most a grape once. I’m also having more cramping. Aside from that, things are going so smoothly. My milk has already come in & I feel like I am adjusting well to being a mom of 2! I have probably been more active than I should be today too - we had a weight check at the pediatrician & I played with my two year old for about a half hour outside today.

Does the clotting/cramping warrant a call to my OB or does this sound normal? TIA
