Heavy bleeding after removal, period or cause for concern? 5 months PP and breastfeeding

I got the Mirena inserted 6 weeks postpartum(now I’m 5 months PP) and have not had a period since Feb/Mar 2019 and I’m currently breastfeeding. I got it removed yesterday will start the mini pill on Sunday, but today I started bleeding a and having cramps and saw blood clots. I know they say spotting is normal but this seems like a lot more than that Based off the research I did I can’t seem to figure out if it’s from the removal or my period? Should the amount of blood be concerning?
