Is 2nd trimester 13 or 14 weeks?

So many sites say 13. Odd one says 14. What are you all going by?

I always round down to 13 weeks but I don’t really know what it matters lol None of the big moments happen right at the start of the second or the third... I think hitting the halfway mark is way more exciting. Anatomy scan and viability 4 weeks later...

I agree this question has confused me Im going with your 13th week because that brings you into a month 4 which would make you in your second TRImester since there are only 3 months in a trimester .

I go by 14 weeks just to be safe but nothing wrong with going by 13 weeks I don’t think

It’s technically 13 weeks 3 days. Or 4 days. So you could round up or down. Doesn’t matter much.
