Spotting freak out

I need some words of encouragement, it’s my first time being pregnant and I’ve had brown spotting the past few days I’ve gone to the doctor but he won’t do an ultrasound until I’m 7 weeks and I’m 4 weeks and 6 days, the first day it was super light barely anything but today was enough to stain my panties, first time was light brown now it’s dark brown, I’ve been told by several people including my doctor that is normal and everything is good but I just cannot avoid feeling feel sick to my stomach and just freaked out, any advice?
