C section experience??

Baby is still breech at 37+4, scheduled an ecv but have decided against it.  The pros to the c section seem to outweigh the cons currently.  May 26th is our day!!! 5 days before my due date.. unless he tries coming earlier ❤️

I'd personally rather 75 labors and vaginal births to even one more section. The healing and being unable to move around for 6 weeks are as horrible as the cathater and itching for days after from the morphine.

I’ve had 3 c-sections and will have my 4th and last next Thursday. The only one that was “bad” was my first because I had labored and my epidural ended up not working on one side so they had to put me to sleep in OR. I woke up freezing and shaking had to be given a ton of blankets. Other than that everything went good!!

I have been given the same option at the 37 week and I go against ECV and scheduled my c section. And guess what in my 38 week appointment, the baby was head down in the right position. I don’t how he would be positioned at my 39 next week 😁 hope he stays head down. Have faith in nature, and decide what you feel is right.

I just had my 3rd csection on May 6th and it was just as easy as my first 2. I didn’t have any complications. I only took 600mg ibuprofen for 5 days. I’m 8 days postpartum and I feel amazing. My husband is going back to work on Monday.

I had an emergency c-section 18 days ago. I was terrified of having a c-section but I had no choice. Honestly it wasn’t as bad as I feared. The spinal made me itchy but that went away in under a day and wasn’t bad. 
I didn’t take anything except for Tylenol and ibuprofen after the spinal. The nurses were great giving me both regularly before I even had pain. I kept up with Tylenol every 6 hours after I was released. At some point I just forgot to take it every 6 hours because I didn’t need it. The nurses helped me get moving 18 hours after and even taught my husband how to best help me get in and out of the bed and chair. Those were the most difficult because of how much you use your abs. My advice is to move when you can but don’t over do it.

My first born was breach from 28 weeks and wouldn’t budge, had an elective c section and it was a great experience. I was mobile quickly, going out for gentle walks as soon as I got home. I healed well and the post-surgery injections were easy peasy. I felt comfortable enough to drive after three weeks so called my insurance company and they were happy for me to start driving again. 
I’m due to have my second elective section next week on the 21st and hoping for a similar experience :) good luck! X
