Lucia is cute but in the US people will pronounce it loo-see-uh first instead of loo-chi-uh, since that pronunciation isn't commonly known. But hey, not a big deal, you can say "the pronunciation is Italian (or whatever country of origin if I'm incorrect)! You say it like loo-chi-uh"
I like the name. I'm a huge fan of the similar name Lucette (pronounced loo-chet), but if I ever chose it for a daughter I would have to do the same pronunciation correction. Not a dealbreaker though imo.

Leila is right and exactly how I'd pronounce it. I like that name. 
I'd pronounce Lucia as either Loo-see-uh or Loo-shuh. Not at all how you are wanting it.

Be prepared to EVERYONE to pronounce Leila wrong. My daughter is lailah (lay-la) and even docs mess it up. I was trying to decide the spelling and there was another mom that has some fancy degree in linguistics and she said even though there’s a certain way to pronounce it, because of how it looks everyone automatically will say it wrong at first.
