Swim Diapers?

I’m looking into reusable swim diapers but I’m not sure if I’m suppose to buy a liner for them? Can I use just a target swim diaper without a liner?

We use iplay swim diaper. Ordered it from amazon. Our son takes swim lessons at the hospital fitness center and has never needed a liner.

Cloth swim diapers don’t have liners, but I have heard of pools requiring both a disposable & cloth diaper together. In which case, Target brand is totally fine.

Swim diapers are tight & made to hold in poop. I've never tried Target ones, but have multiple others & they are amazing.  If your kiddo poops, you toss any solids into the toilet, then take a cup of water & rinse down the rest in the toilet & then wash. Most pools around me require the reusable kind bc the disposables aren't as effective holding in poop. Just beware, don't transport your kiddo in a reusable swim diaper. It is not meant to hold pee, so your carseat may suffer.

I don’t know what a liner is? I’ve always just used the swim diapers like regular diapers 🤷🏻‍♀️
