Baby outfits to the hospital?

Other than babies going home outfit, are you supposed to bring any onsies or pjs??

My daughter was born in December so we brought a fleece footy pajama set with anti scratch mittens and a little hat. My son (who’s due in the beginning of October) is probably going to come home in a cotton footy pajama set with anti scratch mittens and a little hat as well. 
Guess it really depends on your due date and what the weather is typically like in your area around that time

I did. All the hospital put him in was a little shirt and a blanket. I put him in sleepers or gowns that I brought.
