I've heard once they reach 6 weeks, they can sleep the number of hours that corresponds with their age. So 6 weeks, 6 hours. 7 weeks, 7 hours. Etc.

Just be careful. My daughter started that at about that age and started to lose weight so the doctor told me to start "dream feeds" in the middle of the night, not letting her go longer than 4 hours without eating

Who voted no? Of course it’s okay. Unless your baby’s pediatrician has specifically said otherwise due to nutritional or weight issues, then please let your baby sleep. Babies grow and develop when they sleep. I would never wake a baby up from sleep if he or she was under 6 months old, and that’s even pushing it.
