How many ultrasounds with placenta previa?

This wednesday i go for my 28 wk exam an i have placenta previa and they are seeing if it is still there .. would i get more after that if i do any one had any expereince with this?

I had a complete placenta previa, I was diagnosed at 19 weeks and it’s slowly moving away from the cervix. When I went to my 28 weeks scan it had moved 1.6cm away. I have another scan at 34 weeks to see if it moved any further away from the cervix.

If it still hasn’t moved up enough I think you’ll still get one more ultrasound around 34w! I’m sure that varies depending on where you live and who your Dr is.
