I had a planned homebirth with my son in 2011 as a single mom. I'm currently TTC with my husband, and we are both on board for another homebirth!

I loved my homebirth! It was beautiful and quick and easy. I was surrounded by love, and my midwife was perfect. I was 8 days overdue, my son was 7lbs 8oz and 22 inches long!

Labor facts: I was in labor for a total of 5 hours. That's from "I think I might be in labor" to baby in my arms. 5 hours. I pushed 3 times, and he came out all at once. I tore, and it healed on it's own.

My son is almost 9. He loves that he was born at home.
