Does clomid work every cycle for you? Worried it won’t work this cycle

My first month taking clomid 50mg I had a positive ovulation test on CD12, had strong ovulation cramps the next morning, and l became pregnant but unfortunately it was ectopic. That was a few months ago and I was taking myo inositol at the same time as well.

Now this month I took the same dosage of clomid in the same day’s CD 3-7 along with myo inositol, however it’s now CD 14 and I have yet to have anywhere close to a positive ovulation test. I’m just worried that it won’t work this cycle.

Has that happened to anyone where clomid has worked one month and not the next?
