Has anyone here done a natural FET cycle? What helped you decide to do natural vs medicated, and what was your outcome?

how do we calculate due date for natural FET? since its unmedicated can we calculate from our first day of period?

Me! Im doing a natural cycle. My medicated transfer cycle failed and I ovulate and get regular periods so my doctor wanted to try this route. My transfer is coming up! I feel good on this natural cycle so far :)

I’m doing a natural fet now. So far I had an ultrasound/ bloodwork on cd4. I go in again on Friday (cd8). I don’t know Beyond that!  I just ordered my trigger shot as well 
I was between a natural and medicated fet. I decided on the natural because I have already had a successful pregnancy not using ivf. I also have not tested my embryos. Medicated cycles take longer and involve lots of meds which my body doesn’t respond well to. My doctor just thought a natural cycle would be better since I have successfully been pregnant and have unexplained secondary infertility.

There were quite a few variables. Backstory: 4 embryos, 1 fresh transfer resulted in MC, 1 failed FET. 
I had my MC confirmed in September 2019. That same day my doctor and I spoke about FET protocols and gave me the choice of a natural cycle (with Letrozole as I dont always ovulate on my own) and a GEEP protocol. I had to wait 1 cycle after my MC to start. Because of the holidays I chose the medicated cycle for timing purposes alone. Natural can be ballparked but not narrowed down like a medicinally manipulated cycle. My protocol was 7 weeks long and consisted of 24 active BCPs, 30 days Lupron, Delestrogen and PIO injections. Delestrogen and PIO were started before transfer but would continue until about 13 weeks if pregnancy was achieved. That cycle failed to implant. Doc recommended an endo scratch the following cycle which came back normal. 
I chose to convert to a Natural + HCG cycle after that. 1. LUPRON was not covered by my insurance and while it was affordable, the cycle failed so I couldn't justify it after that. 2. Natural cycles are based off of your ovulation and natural cycle. So, nothing additional is added until 5 days before transfer to sustain a pregnancy (PIO). 3. It is FAR less time than a medicated protocol. My last transfer would have been CD 26. So, only 26 days to transfer as opposed to 7 weeks. 
I can not attest to success as of yet. I was cancelled just 3 days before I was supposed to transfer in March due to COVID. However, I should transfer again in a few weeks.
