Who all are getting back to work

Question

My office do want all employees to be back by june firstweek.. I have not informed  about my pregnancy yet.  Did anyone of your employer gave you work from home option once you explained why you don't want to return to work .

I got my positive test on 3/3 right as stuff in my state started shutting down. My work wasn’t closed yet, & only older and pregnant staff could work from home until the government stepped in. So I did what I never thought I’d do, and told my boss at 3w6d. She instantly let me work from home and said the next time she’ll see me in person is when my maternity leave is done. 
I work at a college. There’s no access to proper PPE; I normally encounter 25-100 students in a small enclosed office weekly. My homemade fabric mask wasn’t going to save me lol and the students can’t/won’t properly social distance when we reopen dorms this fall
My OB agreed; she said if my boss changes her mind, she’ll write me a doctors note for HR to seek an accommodation.

I work in healthcare at a hospital in direct patient care and have worked the entirety of the shelter in place order. I let my supervisor know at 10 weeks I was pregnant due to unrelenting vomiting that lasted weeks and weeks. We just wear proper PPE and masks and make sure to be extra cautious of isolation patients, but I never had the option of not going to work because I was pregnant. Good luck!

I am a Dental Assistant, one of the jobs that have a high contraction risk. My employer knows and so does my doctor. My employer said to listen to my doctor and my doctor said if we have PPE then I will be fine. I am not afraid of this AT ALL. My husband’s aunt is Head if Infectious Disease at The Woman’s Hospital here in Houston, TX and said I will be fine. They have only had 2 pregnant women that have contracted COVid in Houston and both have recovered and are doing fine. I am more likely to contract the flu or a cold from outside of the workplace. As long as common sense sanitizing and cleaning and temperature taking is implemented, you really should be fine. You really are more likely to contract this outside the workplace. Eat healthy and take your vitamins to keep your immune system strong. That being said...if you are too afraid, don’t go in. The stress could be more detrimental. It’s just my opinion and information I’ve gotten from my doctor and husband’s aunt.

Just wear your mask if your in contact with people and wash your hands. I work in the medical field and have been coming to work during the pandemic and have not gotten sick. Just take precaution and let your employer know.
