It’s not a bad age gap itself, but the difference in mindset for the two ages is worlds apart. I wouldn’t wanna date a 18 year old right now. But it all depends on the couple!

That’s only 3 years apart. It’s fine. I know my cousin is 28 and married a 37 and that’s a 9 year difference and they seem fine. I’m sure a 3 year differences ￼is fine

I definitely think the mindset matters. Even if y’all are in college, the 21 yr old is about to leave and you’re just starting. I’m 21 and definitely can’t see myself dating a fresh out of HS 18 year old. You haven’t seen or experienced anything yet. Tbh you should just stay single and focus on yourself and having fun imo

I did it. Wouldn’t recommend it because i feel like i wasn’t knowledgeable enough about relationships and how I shouldve been treated. I settled for a lot and he knew I would. But it depends on the people. I always date older though. I’m 21 now and my bf is 27.

I think it’s fine because you are both legal adults and can consent but if you are the 21 year old dating an 18 year old guy I think that might be a little odd
