So my baby lost 8 oz in the hospital before going home and than another 6 oz within 2 days of being home. Her Dr. had me log all the feedings and diaper changes for a couple days. She was exclusively breast fed but I started supplementing with formula as well even though her Dr. was pleased with her feedings and wet/dirty diapers in hopes she would gain some more weight. She has now gained 1 lb since 04/07 and weighs 8 lbs 4 oz and will be two months old in a couple days. She has her 2 month visit next week and I’m just nervous her Dr. won’t be happy with her weight gain. Idk if she is small or not compared to other babies her age. I guess I’m just wondering if any other moms have babies around the same age/size and of this is normal? I’m stressing over it. 😢 I her on demand and let her eat until she’s full. Idk what else to do.
