My SIL was suspected, her results came back inconclusive. But her whole lab (they were studying the virus) tested positive.

My moms boss who works for the school for it. She has a really high pain tolerance, but she said that she was in so much pain, it hurt to breath, she didn’t want to move and she felt like she was dying, she is still recovering.

Yes, plenty. A close family friend of mine who is perfectly healthy (works out every day and has no prior health ailments) fell very, very sick. He was on oxygen and felt a burning sensation every time he took a breath. He had a full recovery, thank god.

Two of my cousins have had it (they live together so when one got it on the plane back from Europe it was only a matter of time) a few you tubers I watch got it, a gaming friend and his family might’ve had it, and that same friend’s grandmother died from it.
