First month doing bbt and opks! I think I ovulated on cd 16 so that puts me at 8 dpo. Is it normal for temps to be dipping today?

Looks great and normal. Your temp will naturally fluctuate up and down, it’s very normal. So long as it stays above the coverline, you’re good.
