Not Drinking Formula
My son is 10 months and LOVES solids. This past week, he’s been having only 10 oz of formula a day. He screams when he sees the bottle and won’t take it with food. He snobs the “before bed bottle” and even the wake up bottle. We do 3 meals and 2 snacks a day, but I don’t know what to do to get him to drink formula. We put it in a sippy cup, open cup, and bottle with handles. We let him drink it on his own, with us, hot or cold. He used to eat around 20 ounces a day. I don’t see any teeth.
I’m worried that he’s not getting the nutrients he needs from it because he has so many food allergies, he’s only eating coconut, rice and beans.
Breakfast - coconut yogurt, 5 Chex mix pieces
Lunch & Dinner - coconut rice, refried black beans, corn pasta noodles, kidney beans
Snacks - Gerber Munchies
He eats massive amount of solids and loves water. Even with cutting back to 4 oz of water, he still won’t take the formula. Any advice?!??
