If you try to teach your LO a new skill/way to play with a toy, how long does it take them to pick it up?

For example, teaching them to put a ball down a ball run, stacking/knocking down cups, signing for more, waving bye bye.

It depends on the toy. He’s really rough with toys so especially with the sorting blocks he’ll copy me but throw the block at the hole 😬.

I have been trying to teach him to put a ball down a ball run, or blocks in a hole, and he watches, picks up the ball/block, and then eats it 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

So toys, he learns and copies quickly, like a couple days. Skills such as waving and signing more we have been doing for weeks and he just smiles then claps.... so yeah not good with that 🤣
