3rd degree tear healing properly?

I gave birth April 24 and unfortunately suffered from a 3rd degree tear and a hemorrhoid.

im almost a month out and I got the courage to look at it today and it looks different than what I was expecting.

I assumed they would stitch my skin too and not just the muscle under but it looks like they just stitched the muscle. meaning I can see muscle right down to near my anus

it’s scary and still sore😭

help? im still 2 weeks away from my 6 week checkup
