Ive had my copper IUD in for over 6 months now and I just started to experience constant cramping a few months ago. The first time I received a ParaGuard it began to expel so, I had it removed and a new one put in at the time. I thought it was small ovulation cramping at first and now it’s continuing to get worse and a daily thing.

Some days I’ll have stringy clear discharge with sometimes a brown tint or its creamy chalky with sometimes brown. I haven’t seen any pink or red. My periods are usually heavy for about 5-6 days as well.

It’s still effective I’m getting my period as I normally should and I’m ovulating but it feels like I’m ovulating all the time and then it’s like severe PMS begins another 2 weeks before my period. I made an appointment with my gynecologist but I’m trying to get some insight from an outside source on what this might be.

Update: I’ve got a severe case of mittelschmerz.
