10dpo spotting... HELP!!!

When checking my cervical height etc, At this point in my cycle I do every other day-ish just to see how it changes, I saw some red blood on my finger when I took it out. Cervix is hard and closed not as high as for ovulation but not as low for menstruation. Wiped and saw red blood on tissue once, it was gone by the second wipe.

I’m due my period in 4/5 days (10dpo).

I’m extremely disheartened right now, if the spotting was pink or brownish I’d be thinking implantation but with it being red I’m not sure what to think.

It’s midnight here now so I’m gonna go to sleep and see what happens over night but does anyone have any words of encouragement? X
