When does baby turn head down?

I’m going in for my 34th week appointment on friday and I’m pretty sure baby has been transverse for 6 weeks. I can feel his head on my right side.  He kicks but doesn’t seem to even be flipping over or changing positions. I’m sure my doctor would tell me if he was concerned about babies position but it makes me nervous.

They can turn at any given point. My friend’s daughter turned while she was in labor.

My breech babe just flipped at 36 weeks. My doc doesn’t worry or confirm until 36week Appt. Hopefully yours will flip too.

All except my first child has always been head down since early early on. None of them turned up between time. They just stayed head down and low. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Just keep asking at all your appointments! At 34 weeks they said “oh I think that’s his butt not his head but even if it’s his head he’ll probably turn” didn’t mention it at 36 week appointment, jump to my 38 week appointment when a different doctor saw me and I asked and he said “I think it’s his butt but I’ll double check with the ultrasound” and sure enough, definitely his head all up in my ribs, I was in shock as suddenly all my plans changed. Had an ECV to try to manually turn him (can’t say I recommend) but that didn’t work and I ended up with a csection. So my answer is sometimes they don’t!

Any point at all, my first son was head down from 20 weeks. My second was head down from 22 weeks
