I had my first early ultrasound yesterday. I should be 6+4 but only a gestational sac was seen. My doctor labeled it a threatened miscarriage and i'll be going back in a week for another ultrasound.

I had to give a urine sample during my visit. I assumed it was to check for a UTI, etc. What I didn't know is that they did a tox screen too. It obviously came back negative because i've never touched a drug in my life.

Has anyone else had this? I have no clue why they'd test for that, except that I've had 2 consecutive miscarriages (this one would be 3) and we've done all the testing and everything's come back normal.

It just added insult to injury. 😞
