Spotting inbetween periods

Hey ladies,

I started spotting this past Saturday, its been on and off since then. I also have doubled up on pills two different times in the past week and a half. I haven’t had sex since around Mother’s Day. I have about 8 days left until my period. The only symptom I’ve had is spotting and little cramping. Thoughts? I am nervous
