Ovulation strips are not enough??

Hi, I’ve been reading comments lately that’s ovulations strips don’t show the accurate days you’re ovulating and that BBT is the way to do it. But I know many that have got pregnant just by using ovulation strips.
I’m confused, anyone shed some light on this please? X

It all depends from person to person. Opks can work great for some people but others dont get their LH surge until after they've already ovulated. Bbt doesnt help you to know when you're going to ovulate- it just shows that you that you did ovulate after the fact. Unless you've been tracking bbt consistently for multiple cycles it's hard to judge when you're going to ovulate. I think tracking bbt is a pain in the ass though bc you need to sleep for at least 3 hours straight and take your temp before you sit up or even move at all... I'm the kind of person who needs to drink something right when I wake up to wet my throat so it's tough for me. I just placed an order for an ava fertility bracelet that I found for just $60 that should make tracking way easier!

Opk tracks your LH surge. Bbt tracks and can confirm ovulation.

The issue with opks is they indicate that you COULD ovulate but not that you have or definitely will.
