Well I didn’t expect to have my little man here so soon but here he is! I went in for a doctors appointment and my blood pressure was very high 172/102 and so I was sent to the hospital to be monitored. Once there my blood pressure was 187/108 and It was determined that I had preeclampsia. Labs came back good enough that I didn’t have to have an emergency c section and that I could be induced instead. However, somehow with freaking out about this I sent myself

Into labor naturally. At doc appointment that day I was not dilated at all and then all off a sudden I was 3cm and 80% effaced. So they still gave me pitocin to speed up the labor. At 1:37am my baby boy was born weighing 5 pounds 8 oz . His breathing was great and it was determined he could stay with me in my room but would have a special NICU nurse that would come in every hour to check his sugar levels. Baby boy is doing great. He will have to stay at hospital two days longer than me but I am able to come and go as much as I want .
