How did you get pregnant with male factor infertility?

Please leave me comments with your feedback. We’ve tried 2 years of timed, 6 months of medically assisted timed, now we will try 3 rounds of IUI then go to IVF lCSI due to 1% morphology. I need a little hope. IVF is not something I wanted to do but it may be the only choice 😓

We ended up doing icsi as my husband has low sperm count we were also trying for 2years it was a big step to take I could not believe it but we are so happy we done it everything went well we now have 6 embryos freezed and doing my FET next month I feel like we don’t know any better I never got pregnant so this is our normal and lots of other peoples too there’s so much doing it ❤️

My husband sperm is fine. But I have pcos and have my period only 3-4 times a year. So after failed clomid/letrozole/iuis, I have no regrets of doing IVF. 14 weeks now. It doesn’t matter which way the kids are coming to our lives, what is important is that they are coming 🤞

My husband has super low sperm count and 1%morph. He only has one working tesi and the one that does work has a varicocele. They were hesitant on operating because it can make things worse. They wanted to test my fertility as well even though we hadn’t even started trying yet and they had already told my husband we would have to do IVF. He knew he had fertility problems before we met so we knew what we would be dealing with when we decided to TTC. My husband found FertileAid and decided to give it a try and it actually made his sperm count jump. His doctor though advised him not to take them because he thought they were useless and kept pushing fertility treatments. My husband kept taking them and it has never taken us longer than 3 months to get pregnant. I have no fertility issues myself as I’m young and healthy. I’m 19 weeks with our third baby.

My husband had very low count, low motility, and 0% morphology.  We skipped IUI because our doctor said with zero normal sperm and very low count it was pretty much impossible for IUI to work for us.  We’ve done 2 transfers and the first one is my one year old son, the second was a chemical pregnancy.  It was worth every penny, but yes it is very expensive without insurance coverage.

Husband had low end of normal testosterone but low counts and morphology was always 0. Did clomid for him but even tho it increased his testosterone it did not improve his counts at all. At that point we went from his urologist to a fertility clinic and did ivf w/ ICSI which was successful.

We were not candidates for iui, we skipped to ivf icsi. We were successful first round of a fresh transfer. Our son was born in January. 
Morphology is tough, especially at 1%. For us it was sperm count, and a urologist suggested surgery. Our insurance covered ivf, so we didn’t want to wait on a maybe with the surgery because it’s a 3 month recovery to see if it worked.

Our doctors, urologist and gynecologist, suggested IVF for low sperm count after trying timed intercourse and 1 iui. Currently on our first IVF cycle.

My understanding is that unless the MFI is very mild IUI & timed intercourses is a waste of time. Most couples are given the recommendation of IVF with ICSI. Some couples may try measure to increase sperm count for a few months. I have heard of men actually taking clomid for this reason but more often than not IVF is the go to.

Clomid for a week before my ovulation date. It’s worked twice as I’m 13 weeks pregnant with our second baby.
