26 month age gap

For moms with more than 1 child I am curious how your transition was. Our daughter will be 2 in September and while I am hoping the closeness in age will be a great thing, I am also kind of nervous. I know it will be a whole new kind of crazy, but how crazy? Any tips or tricks for transition from 1 kid to 2 and so close in age. Anything you did or wish you did to help your first born adjust before welcoming the new baby? I know we have time but I would like to prepare her and ourselves as much as we can.
