Question about birth/ pre birth🤷‍♀️

Soo, I am honestly just sitting here reading other posts and thinking when do they start checking our cervix? What is this about getting induced? I am not a expert on these subjects and would possible love to know more information if mommas have it. I am not a first time mom but I didn’t get to experience anything but a phone call at 35 weeks to come to the hospital to be induced with my son due to preeclampsia the poor nurse asked me multiple times how I was still functioning 😳 buut. Just wanting some advice and or stores anything honestly. I also wanna know... what are y’all talking with your drs about at these short slow appointments? Thank you ladies ❤️❤️❤️
