Getting pregnant again after weaning

Hi guys!

It's been a while since i posted on glow and now I'm back with another question but this time for all the second time mothers:)

I delivered a beautiful baby boy in April 2018. I breastfed him till Dec 2019 i.e. till he is 20 months, and now he is 25 months. I completely weaned him off, it has been 5 months now. I still can see some milk in my breasts here and there, though i dont leak. We are thinking of planning a second child now. Can i still get pregnant while still producing a little milk. I heard that it would be difficult till we completely dry up. Is that true? Though i get my period every month they are still not right on time, sometimes its 32 days sometimes 35 or 38.. I think its due to my lactation. Need some help here. I want to conceive this year, so there wouldn't be much gap between the two. I'm already 32..😄 Can i still try?
