Birth control

So I’m 15 yrs old turning 16 and not a Virgin I’ve been dating this boy for about 8 months and we have not had sex yet but before I do I want to have extra protection. but I’m scared to ask my mom because then she might be not so happy. I wonder can I get birth control without my mom knowing (my mom knows I’m not a Virgin by the way because I told her) I really do want to sneak behind my mothers back but it seems like that’s what I have to do because she’s not really a understanding person!
