Does your baby cry in their car seat?

My girl is 10 months on the 27th and she has since day one and still does cry in her car seat.

Im from Australia so they have to be rear facing until 1 years old. I dont know if she cries because shes rear facing or because she just hates it.

I have put up a mirror, tried toys, her fav songs/nursery rhymes but she still cries. Its not even a normal cry... she actually scream cries and starts coughing.

Is it normal for her to hate it so much? I cant go anywhere. I mean 10 mins in to our drive and she is bawling.
