How do you keep your nails MOST of the time?

I have natural long nails that I keep in an oval/almond shape. They are also always painted.  I can’t even think of the last time I didn’t have painted nails.

I trim them once they get too long. Sometimes I bite them if they’ve chipped already.

Now I’ve got little frail baby nub nails 😂

I cut and file my nails every 2-3 days. I play the piano and prefer them short

I usually keep them filed short since I can scrub in for surgery, but they have mostly been long and filed since quarantine since I don’t have to go in.

Ive atarted to keep my nails on the longer side. Salons are still closed in my state, so I decided to start painting and decorating my own nails. Its quite relaxing. I need lots of practice still though but I feel like I am making progress. It is teaching me patient lol I need to be better at letting my nails dry.

I have a horrible nail/cuticle biting habit. I have to have fake nails on. I don't get acrylic anymore, it got too expensive to do. Now I get the glue on nails from Target or Walmart.

I don't get fake nails. I prefer to keep them clipped at a short/medium length. But I've got a real bad habit of biting them off when I'm having an anxiety attack.

I do hard gel. I get em done every 2 weeks. But while I could go because of quarantine I just kept them trimmed. I’ve never been a nail bitter.
