How much would you tip?

Having an old friend of mine do my hair. I bought some supplies about $35. How much should I tip her?

If the work is being done for free I would give no less than $50. That is still an absolute steal compared to salons. If she is charging and does a good job I would give a 20% tip

Is she charging for her work? Did u buy all the supplies? Given what's going on and how all stylists are closed (at least in my area) I would certainly tip extra... double a normal tip honestly. Even if it is a close friend or old friend.

What all is she doing and  are you paying her for her work or just a tip? Just asking as a hairdresser if she is doing your roots or a detailed process I’d say it depends on how much she puts into it. Most of my clients consider how long it takes too when tipping.
