So originally I wasn't going to tell anyone the gender and name we picked out until I had the baby (including my family) but then my nanny (mom's mom) started getting sicker and sicker with her congestive heart failure. She asked me about names and we talked about names with her. She helped us decide on naming our baby after her father. My mom was there, so she obviously found out the gender and knew that Nanny helped pick out the name etc. My Nanny has since passed away (it's been two months now) and obviously my mom has been in contact with her family a lot, because trying to plan a celebration of life during this pandemic is complicated. She has told my dad, sister, aunt, Nanny's cousin, her cousins, her aunt and her friends that I'm having a boy and that I'm naming him after my great grandpa... It irritated me, but I was like "it's fine, she just needs something happier to focus on right now, and it's mostly just family, so I just still won't announce it on Facebook." 🙄 Now she has started saying stuff on Facebook about the gender and name. Like honestly, last time I wasn't able to surprise anyone with anything because her and her family told everyone everything, including about my health concerns. Now this time it's the same, she's again posted about my health concerns during this pregnancy as well... Like, ugh... Can I have anything the way I want it?? This is possibly my last pregnancy, so I'm just irritated as I had my reasons for not wanting to announce gender and name until after the baby is born...
