Birth story

Susan • Peyton Louise Jones was born 16th June 2016...Kalen Jones 22nd may 2020

So.... I went in for an induction on the 21st may, got the pessary which didnt work

They couldn't give me a second one cos the doctors where all in theatre until 11pm and they needed their say so, so they had to wait till 22nd am.

The morning came and my stomach was getting slight contractions so they took me down to the maternity ward and there my partner was allowed in

I was getting contractions but with my water in tact they were so manageable, yes slightly painful but just easy to breath naturally through.

So then the sods at 12.45pm broke my waters.... omg contractions went from a 1 to 10 in seconds, agony was not the word. So I said I had to have an epidural I couldnt deal with the level of pain, it was worse than my first birth

So they called the person down to do the epidural at 13.05pm I had another few contractions and then wham I screamed my body is pushing, they were like...babys head is nearly out.

2 pushes and the head was out, 2 small pushes and the body was out.

It was so quick I am still in shock and the epidural woman walks in and was like....well it's rare I'm not needed but its lovely to see a baby in my place Haha.

9lb 14ozs .... it was agonising I am not going to lie, hut he was worth it all, absolutely besotted in love with him and cannot wait for big sister to meet him.

We have to stay in one night.
