Hey was just wondering if any other ladies were put on depo after pregnancy how long did it take for your cycle to get back to normal? What type of problems did you have if any? Depo was not my 1st choice in bc after pregnancy but it was the only one that didn't interfere with my medications or cause me yeast infections. Any who since the pandemic started I wasn't able to make my yearly exam or get my next shot. Or son is 2 & my husbands 1st born is 16 so we've decided maybe another wouldn't be so bad, that since I'm off the shot to just go with the flow if it happens awesome! If not than also great! I've read that it can take up to 6 months to get back to "normal" or to ttc but what I wasn't prepared for was 3 separate periods in less than a months time. Insane back & stomach cramps etc. I mean i realize going almost 2 yrs w/o a period would have some issues after but damn! Lol. Was just wondering if anyone else went through the same or similar getting off the shot? If its what I should expect or should I be concerned. Any shared experiences would be appreciated.
