TSH 3.58 10 Weeks Pregnant
I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and Hashimoto’s in September.
My TSH was 3.26 when I first found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks so my general doctor increased my meds from 88 to 125. Stated he wanted to see it 2.5 or below.
I’m now 10 weeks, had my first ultrasound on Wednesday and everything looked great. Baby was healthy with a strong heartbeat but my TSH is now 3.58. My OB’s nurse sent a message stating “Dr. has advised that due to your HX of Hashimoto's Thyroid, your Thyroid Antibodies are elevated. Your actual Thyroid function is good. She feels that the medication you are on is adequate for treatment. Her plan is to retest again at your next appt.”
It makes nervous that my TSH raised slightly since 6 weeks ago and that it’s still higher than 2.5. Has anyone else had a relatable experience?
