I get mistaken for Sydney and my names cindy go figure lol. Always at Starbucks they put Sydney on my coffee for my name. So yea I think so.

my son is phoenix and constantly gets called felix even at his hospital appointment once the nurse called phoenix and a lady went in with her son felix leaving me sat longer because nobody checked the correct person went it 🙄

In school we had a Sydney who was often mistaken for a Cyndi, she’d always get so mad about it lol I think it’s just one of those names that are bound to be mispronounced.

I have a daughter Cydni (pronounced Sydney) and granted the spelling is confusing (my fault 🤦‍♀️ lol) but she gets called Cindy so much she just goes with  it now lol
