Cramping with very little blood - period or pregnancy?

Starting three days ago, I’ve been spotting. It is around the time that I usually get my period. The spotting was very pink and the discharge was almost like vasaline. I also had some odor, but that seems to have stopped after a shower.

I had thought this might be implantation bleeding, but yesterday and today I had been more brown like the beginning of my period usually is. I’ve been spotting a small amount ever since.

Today I’ve been having pretty bad cramping (similar to my heavy day on my period), but I’m still just barely spotting. This is unusual for me, and is my main concern.

Any ideas as to what might be happening? Could I be pregnant? (If I don’t start my full period soon I plan on taking a test). Should I look out for any other signs?
