Removal of nexplanon

Ever since I got the nexplanon implant my mental health has deteriorated. I already had anxiety and depression but the implant made it 1000% worse. I just moved to a new state and it would be 3 months before I got an appointment to have it removed. I did a dumb thing and removed it myself. I was very careful and disinfected everything. Has anyone else done this or am I just an idiot? Come to find out it was also broken before I removed it. The outer layer was the only thing holding it together.
