Baby’s position?

Question

Has anyone (3rd trimester) figured out how their baby is positioned, at-home? If so, how? Every time I think I’ve figured it out, she’ll kick, and it feels like she has 4 legs all over my belly.

I can feel him wrapped around my body. He’s been transverse the whole time, his legs are in my left side and his head in my right , he’s not moved position literally the whole time lol it’s like he’s giving me a giant hug lol

I used my Doppler to figure out where I’m finding baby’s heartbeat. Usually, whatever quadrant baby’s heartbeat is in is also where baby’s head is. You can also gently press around your belly, and see if you can find something long and hard: that’s baby’s back. Other than that, just trying to pay attention to where you’re feeling stronger kick movements (feet) and where you’re feeling more smaller, not so strong kick movements (hands/elbows). Ask your doctor when you go next!

I speculated breeched. And the dr confirmed it. I realized I only felt kicks on my sides

Hiccups! Only feeling the baby’s hiccups way down in my pelvis- midwife confirmed this week that baby is head down.

I have a Doppler and found heartbeat way down my pelvis so I’m thinking baby is head down?! Or somewhat down? Not sure tho. 😊

I was saying to my husband that i was sure baby was breech. Had a scan yesterday and yes he is. I had movement all over but i swear he sits with his feet pressed against my cervix

I think it gets easier the bigger they are. With my daughter she was always head down, so you could totally feel her butt on my upper abdomen and then you could feel her head if you palpated lower cause her head was obviously harder. Then also up with her butt I could sometimes feel her feet, especially the heels. I’m pretty chubby too but I could still tell once she got bigger in the 3rd trimester.
