When did you switch?

Hey mommas! When did you guys switch from a crib to a toddler bed. My son turned one in April and im due with his little brother in December.

My son was 14 months. I’m due with his brother in October and I wanted him to get used to it and I wanted to be comfortable putting him to sleep while pregnant. He does great and I love it. This is his bed we built.

15 months. He’s been climbing everything lately. Didn’t want to risk a fall.

when he was 2. we lowered his bed at 1.5 years old

2 with both of my kids.  Unless they are climbing out of the crib, it’s safer to keep them in it as long as possible imo lol

My first was 18-ish months and he only got moved cause he was trying to climb and I felt more comfortable at that point  with him in a big boy bed.. my daughter is almost 20 months and she's still in her crib I do have plans to move her to a big girl bed closer to the end of the year(Dec) she'll be just over 2.. that is unless she starts climbing like her brother did..
