Uterine/cervical polyps anyone?

Long story but please share any experience if you have it...I’m in tears with frustration.

Went to ObGYn 2 yrs ago for brown spotting 3-7 days before period (total spotting/period time of 13-15 days every single cycle!!!) and failed TTC after 6 months. Had a PAP and was given the all clear. I felt a small bump at the entrance of my cervix and felt sure I had a polyp so I made another appt with a different OBGYN and insisted they look again. After laughing and saying if I had one it would have been spotted during my PAP he agreed to look.

Sure-a-damn-nuff there it was.

It was removed although he assured me it wasn’t problematic and wasn’t affecting my TTC attempts.

4 months later (10 months TTC) I still have extended brown spotting before every period and make another appt with OBGYN. They do another ultrasound and say I have a possible very small endocervical polyp but insists my spotting is normal and there was no need to remove it and it wasn’t affecting my TTC attempts.

I tried a few more months to TTC but still nothing so I made an appt with an RE who did blood work, ultrasounds, and HSG. I told them about the suspected polyp but they didn’t see one. All my tests were normal.

2 years of hell after beginning my TTC journey, 2 failed IUIs, and months away from

IVF

I find another RE for a 4th opinion who says he does believe I have a uterine polyp and is doing a saline sonogram soon to evaluate further. He says polyps are known to cause infertility and miscarriages and need to be removed.

So I spent the last 2 yrs of my life crying on the bathroom floor with repeated negative tests and an a single pregnancy that quickly ended in a loss for something that potentially could have been solved years before?!?!

I AM LIVID

Any experiences with polyps and TTC attempts?
