when did your doctor do bloodwork?

i’m 10+1 and had my 8 week appointment already, no bloodwork done. i won’t go to the office again until 20 weeks 🙃 do i need to find a new doctor or...? also i feel like i asked this before so i apologize if i have

Never.  Didn’t do it with my first either

The doctor I had with my daughter didn’t do bloodwork. The practice I go to for this baby did. I’m assuming it depends on the doctor you have.

I did bloodwork, but it was just testing my blood type, antibodies, stds, etc. they didn’t test my hcg levels, and my first ultrasound isnt until 9 weeks

Also, I called and asked them if I needed my levels of hcg done and they said nope, we only send patients for that to check for miscarriage. So you could always call them and see what they say

My dr didn't do any bloodwork, my midwife ordered some around 15 wks.

Things are slowed down massively because of covid. There may be limitations due to your insurance (because they’re dumb and think they have a say in quality of patient care 😡) BUT I would think they would have done blood by now. It’s generally the first thing done to confirm pregnancy.
